Innovative Erasmus+ Program for Children with Obesity

JUDO4CO is a holistic initiative that uses judo as a movement and learning environment for children with obesity. In collaboration with paediatric clinics, dietitians, psychologists, and physiotherapists, the program combines physical training with medical monitoring, nutritional education, and emotional support—addressing the whole child: body, mind, and social context.

Trainer Education (ToT)

Led by Tycho van der Werff, the ToT course equips trainers to deliver safe, customized judo lessons. The program includes practical training, didactics, and multidisciplinary coordination. Participant trainers receive a certificate to confirm the successfull completion of the program.
